ABOUT MORIAH

Professionally speaking I'm certainly no stranger in being of-service to others. I've

had an eclectic background in various industries; From hospitality, eco-tourism, leading dives as a PADI scuba DIVEMASTER and now Massage Therapy. Direct interpersonal contact with multiple people in high volume environments every single day of my adult working career for 25+ years is a level of education beyond measure.

Under the superficial I am unwavering in my personal growth and self development. Working through CPTSD and ancestral trauma has taken me down many healing paths over the years. On this continuous and profound mind, body, spirit healing journey I've turned over many stones in the healing realm through trauma/shadow-work, biohacking, routine detoxing, breathwork, homeopathy, TCM, red light therapy, infrared therapy, frequency therapy, plant medicine, reducing overall bioburdens (pathogenic, viral, bacterial loads) to name a few. As well, receiving regular bodywork continues to be crucial in helping me regulate my nervous sytem and release unprocessed emotions from my body.

Along the winding path my evolution led me to SpaTech Institute (2020) where I completed the therapeutic massage training program. (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stones...). To compliment the therapeutic approach I have completed specialized training in Ashiatsu (BareFoot Massage) with the masters at DeepFeet Bar Therapy. I've had the privilege of working with many skilled therapists over the years gaining knowledge in various therapeutic settings which has added to my skill set. I truly enjoy my craft and feel honored that others seek my services.

Additionally I have introductory training in herbalism with completing a 115 hr apprenticeship with Greenwood Herbals (Limerick, Maine-2020). Here I gained knowledge in harvesting, processing, and application of plant medicine which I have weaved into my practice to offer a well rounded therapeutic and holistic approach.

Aside from scholastic training I believe that so much of what transmutes for a client when receiving any care, stems from the intent and personal well-being of the practitioner. A dedication & varied approach to my own health brings clarity and a grounded presence to my work.

WORKING WITH ME

As a wellness provider I believe it is my job to anticipate client needs and guide them thru their care as best I can. I am naturally intuitive however I am not a mind reader. This is a joint union and I always encourage clients to empower themselves by communicating their needs at all times during the course of working together. As well, I work with all groups of people across various ages, backgrounds, etc. With a few exceptions, there really isn't anyone for which bodywork does not apply. That said, massage therapy is a broad study and not all practitioners are a match for all client needs. I am open to sharing my wisdom with clients of what could be beneficial for them whether that be encouraging additional at-home self-care and/or modalities/therapies outside of my scope of practice.

"When we liberate ourselves of past physical and emotional trauma we begin to live life to the fullest with more grace, vitality, and ease; as the body begins to unwind, so too, do rigid outdated thought patterns. I am committed to this craft of bodywork and helping others release what no longer serves them."
