BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIES

POLICY APPLIES TO ALL CLIENTELE/bookings; NEW/ESTABLISHED/GIFT CERTIFICATE PURCHASES. By booking you acknowledge the following policies.

BOOKING POLICY

YOU MUST BE 18 OR ABOVE TO RECEIVE TREATMENT.

 

(NEW CLIENTS) an intake form will be sent via text to the phone number you provide when booking. The form is mandatory and no exceptions will be made. we are not responsible for potential connectivity / technological issues if you wait to fill OUT THE FORM LAST MINUTE. it is advised that you fill out the form well in advance before arriving to your session to avoid any delays or denial + Charge of services.

BOOKINGS ARE by appointment only. Therefore the front door IS LOCKED  during sessions. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early our front door may be locked. 

 

in order to optimize my schedule i may occasionally reach out to make minor shifts in appointment start times. I appreciate your accommodation when able.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 48 hour cancellation notice is required. Please contact the business phone number directly for all cancellations ASAP. Leave a voicemail or text stating cancellation- No matter the day/time. 

 

If you cancel/reschedule outside of a 48-hr period prior to your scheduled appointment time you will receive a full refund.

 

If you cancel/reschedule in less than 48-hrs of your scheduled appointment time you will be charged for 100% of services.

If you no-call/no-show to your appointment you will be charged for 100% of services.

I get it- life happens. in fact it's happening for everyone day in and day out. something interfering with a client's schedule is a daily occurrence and it's not a unique situation. Filling appointments in less than 48 hours is challenging and unlikely.

this is an appointment based business. No one is waiting outside the door to take your session if you can't make it.

 

This policy applies for "unwell/don't want to spread illness" cancellations as well. I've had sickness/unforeseen events arise before my own personal appointments myself. I take responsibility and continue to respect the professionals from whom i seek care by honoring their policies and wellbeing.

Please understand that I will not suffer direct income loss due to cancellations that could have been filled with clients eager to receive treatments. Thank you for understanding that My time and livelihood is just as valuable as your own. This is not personal. this is business.​​​​​

Punctuality

​if you ARE TARDY WE WILL WORK WITH THE REMAINING TIME AVAILABLE FOR YOUR SESSION- YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE COST OF THE ORIGINAL SESSION. IF YOU NEED TO SHORTEN your scheduled session you are still responsible for the entire cost of the original session. If the therapist has time you may extend the length of your session at the intended cost of time. All it takes is to get stuck in traffic, behind a school bus, or plow truck...leave earlier than intended.

weather POLICY

safety is important and I'm NOT asking anyone to endanger themselves. However, this is maine and it is no surprise that snow falls every year. please do what you need to ensure that you make it to your appointments on time. if the weather channEL/medIA regularly influences your life choices you might not be the client for ME. I won't be closing shop every mention of a snow storm. If you are uncomfortable driving in certain elements save your bookings for fair weather months. occasionally I may reach out about reschedules during inclement weather but I truly keep this to a minimum. stay alert, stay off your phone, and give yourself plenty of time.

Misconduct

any illicit or sexually suggestive, flirtatious remarks, advances, hints, or jokes made by a client at ANY juncture (IN OFFICE/TEXT) During the course of working together will result in immediate termination of the session and/or client/therapist professional relationship, and the client will be liable for payment for the full scheduled appointment AND NEVer to return.
